Questions
Why not just use an AirTag?
AirTags are about £29 each, need a battery and only work well with iPhones. A LostMe sticker costs [price], has no battery and works with any phone that finds it. It's made for things worth getting back, not things worth tracking.
What does the finder see?
A message box and an optional button to share where they found it. Never your number or your email.
Can someone copy my sticker?
Each sticker gets its own long random code. A copy would only ever lead back to you.
What if nobody scans it?
A short code is printed under the QR as a backup, and your design makes it obvious the item is yours.
What happens to where someone found it?
It is only shared if the finder chooses to. We plan to delete finder locations after 30 days (to be confirmed).
